# $CREDS

### $CREDS Token

$CREDS is an [ERC-20 standard](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-20) token and the core of the DystoPunks ecosystem, as the ecosystem grows more utility will be added, also works as a governance token and its the beginning of the path towards the [Dystolab DAO](https://litepaper.dystopunks.net/ecosystem/dystolab).

For each [DystoPunks ](https://litepaper.dystopunks.net/ecosystem/nft-collections/dystopunks)NFTs, 7 $CREDS are generated per day for 7 years. The tokens accumulate in each of the NFTs and can be claimed through our website, this means that DystoPunks can be bought, sold and transferred with $CREDS attached. $CREDS have an active liquidity pool on [Uniswap ](https://litepaper.dystopunks.net/development/blockchain/uniswap)maintained by the community, you can swap ETH for $CREDS or vice versa and be a liquidity provider.

$CREDS meets [DeFi](https://ethereum.org/defi/). $CREDS V2 will be our first proposal to be voted on. We are developing a complex tokenomics to be able to expose it to the community, it will practically be the evolution and the next step towards the Dystolab DAO.
